NewsLifeMedia CEO Nicole Sheffield joins IAB Australia Board

SYDNEY, 22nd July 2015: IAB Australia has announced the appointment of Nicole Sheffield, CEO of NewsLifeMedia, to its Board. Sheffield is recognised as one of the most influential and senior women in Australian media and brings a wealth of experience to the IAB Australia Board from her many and diverse roles across all aspects of the industry.

“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to represent News on the IAB Board.  I look forward to working with the Board to support the fast growing and dynamic interactive advertising industry and the future of digital advertising in this country,” said Sheffield.

Sheffield will replace News Corp Australia’s Neil Robinson on the IAB Australia Board.  She will work with Ed Harrison, IAB Board Chairman and Yahoo7 CEO; and the other digital leaders on the Board to proactively define the future of the digital industry in Australia and work to keep it a thriving and fair industry.

“Nicole’s exceptional experience and background will be a great asset to our IAB Board.  Her passion, enthusiasm and industry knowledge will bring additional depth and perspective to our planning and activities in the year ahead,” said Alice Manners, CEO of IAB Australia.

In addition to her roles as CEO of NewsLifeMedia and IAB board member, Sheffield sits on the advisory board of Acquire Learning and is Chair of Marketing and Communications at Chief Executive Women. She has a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University and a Masters of Business from UTS.
