In this webinar we provided an update on the impacts of, and recommendations for, the mandatory AppTrackingTransparency policy due to be released within Apple’s forthcoming iOS 14.5 (due later this month). Thereafter all iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV app developers will need to receive a user’s permission to track their activity across other apps and websites via their device’s advertising identifier (IDFA), for targeted advertising and to measure campaign effectiveness.
The session included an introduction to the SKAdNetwork (SKAN) API and series of explainers, delivered by IAB Tech Lab. This was then followed by a panel discussion of experts and the opportunity for a live Q&A with attendees.
