Gai Le Roy

CEO

Gai is the CEO of IAB Australia which is the peak advocacy, research & standards body representing digital media and advertising. Gai has worked in the media industry for 30 years and in the digital ad industry since portals were cool, pop-ups were rampant and an unnamed TV exec told her that internet advertising would never be worth more than $100m. Prior to running the IAB Gai held senior roles at Fairfax, Nielsen, ninemsn & Gateway Research.

Jonas Jaanimagi

Technology Lead

Jonas has been working as Technology Lead for IAB Australia since January 2017, having previously been a board member for almost 5 years. Prior to this he was Head of Media Strategy and Operations as well as Head of Media at REA Group.

Jonas’s digital career began in 1999 when he joined a start-up financial publisher with three people, which over an 8-year period grew to an organisation of over 100 staff. Jonas then founded and launched WebAds UK, a specialist business and finance digital ad-sales house. After successfully driving the business to profitability, Jonas was head-hunted by Hi-Media, Europe’s largest independent ad network with access to more than 150 million unique users.

Prior to moving to Australia with REA Group in 2012, Jonas worked at Videology as the Director of Product Management for Europe.

Natalie Stanbury

Director of Research

Natalie joined IAB Australia as Director of Research in February 2019, managing the IAB’s relationship with Nielsen developing independent, inclusive and transparent digital audience measurement system and other IAB work toward the development of effective measurement solutions and standards for the online advertising industry. Natalie brings her a depth of experience and industry knowledge, having been Research director at News Corp and spending five years as head of research and insights at Fairfax Media, as well as working with Ninemsn and Ticketek.

Jennifer Thomas

Head of Marketing and Membership

Jenn is Head of Marketing and Membership for IAB Australia and brings over 10 years of experience across Sponsorships and Strategic Sales in the TV and Digital space. Working across a range of media owners in the Australian Market such as ninemsn, Fairfax Media and Yahoo7 has given Jenn extensive commercial and marketing experience. Her passion for the digital advertising industry and the community within it puts her in good stead in her current role within the IAB.

Sarah Waladan

Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs

Sarah works with IAB member organisations, other trade associations, policy makers and the global IAB network, with the primary goal of distilling and navigating the myriad of local and global regulatory frameworks that underpin the digital advertising ecosystem today and into the future. Sarah joins IAB Australia from Free TV Australia where she was Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs and Joint Company Secretary advising Free TV Australia’s members on all aspects of communications law, regulatory and policy issues.

Liz Eades

Director of Learning and Development

Liz joined IAB Australia as the Director of Learning and Development in 2022. Liz brings over two decades of extensive blended experiences across marketing, communications, and academic environments. She has developed practice-based learning programs for Victorian government departments and private enterprises. As the Director of Learning and Development, Liz’s role will steer the development, design and delivery of practice-based education to further close the skills gap for potential entrants and upskilling talent in our industry.

Tiffany Hill

Office and Training Manager

Tiffany manages training and mentorship programmes as well operations for the IAB team and community. Tiff is a highly experienced administrative and executive assistant.
