Overview

The IAB is a resource hub for your business. Whether you are seeking to educate and train your staff or your clients; to access industry best practice guidelines, advertising standards or measurement standards; review industry expenditure data or resources on a wide range of topics including mobile or video advertising; or if you require policy advice on regulatory issues facing the industry and your business; then the IAB can help. You will be part of a global IAB community of 47 international IAB organisations.

As the peak industry body for interactive advertising in Australia, the IAB produces and aggregates hundreds of research and cases studies, and our councils localise global standards and best practice guidelines to support standardisation and growth across the industry. You will receive access to this expanding and rich library of resources via our website, where much of the information is offered to members only. 

Members enjoy access to numerous IAB events throughout the year which provide industry insights and the opportunity for you to network with your peers from advertisers, media owners, agencies and other online service providers. Well-established global media and technology companies through to start-up organisations just breaking into the online space all attend our events.  IAB also offers honorary membership to advertisers.

IAB membership also offers the opportunity to have your specialist staff participate in the IAB Councils, helping to shape the future landscape of online and mobile advertising by developing the policy and guidelines for the industry. Current IAB councils & working groups include; Executive Technology, Measurement, Ad Effectiveness, Video, Audio, Standards & Guidelines, Data, DOOH, Affiliate and Gaming.

Finally, IAB membership offers you the chance to be part of a collective voice helping to bridge industry knowledge gaps and ensure future growth and development. In bringing the industry together under the one, highly regarded umbrella of the global IAB brand, the IAB can work on problems with a strong voice for industry and deliver a greater impact than any of our members could achieve working alone.

General Membership

General members enjoy a broad array of membership benefits. It is for organisations that derive commercial gain from interactive advertising, whether directly or indirectly, as an advertiser, media owner, media / creative / strategy agency, SEO/SEM agency, technology provider, platform publisher, measurement or analytics provider.

IAB General Membership covers all employees within an organisation.

The annual fee for a General Membership is $3,500 + GST (Please note: there will be a slight increase in fees from July 1 2021 to $3,950 + GST)

General Council Membership

General Council membership provides your organisation with a seat of one of our Councils. The Councils consist of industry thought leaders who play an active role in shaping the content and events for the IAB Community.

In addition to Council representation your organisation also benefits from all the General

Membership benefits as outlined in IAB General Membership.

The annual fee for a General Council Membership is $5,500 + GST.

Exec Tech Membership

The IAB Executive Council Membership category is for organisations who want to play a key role in shaping the content and direction of the IAB Council community. The membership provides your organisation with a seat on the Executive Technology Council. In addition the membership allows you access to a further Council Membership for an additional team member. And of course all of your employees have access to the benefits provided under the IAB General Membership.
