Sydney, Australia – March 15 2013: Adap.tv has announced the appointment of Grant Bingham to head business development in Australia. His main responsibility will be extending the range of Adap.tv publishing partnerships, as well as developing opportunities with existing partners.

Phil Duffield, Adap.tv’s managing director for Australia, says Grant Bingham was chosen because of his extensive knowledge of the online video advertising and media industry. “He brings first-hand experience from publishing at Yahoo!7 and Hobsons in the UK, as well as having worked the advertising network-side at Ad Pepper UK.”

“Adapt.tv is driving change in the video advertising marketplace,” says Duffield. “We’re sizing-up to make the most of this opportunity. We are hiring experienced people, who understand the landscape and can build strategic partnerships that enhance our offerings to advertisers.”

Grant’s appointment is the latest in a series of recent announcements from Adap.tv, which opened its Sydney office in March last year. In October, Mitch Waters moved from News Ltd to head the Australian sales team. In global news, Adap.tv was also named the fastest growing company in Silicon Valley in 2012 by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. The company expects to mirror the strong video advertising growth they have experienced overseas in Australia.
