Stuart Sayers Appointed Yahoo!7 CEO. Yahoo!7

Sydney, 3rd September, 2012 – Yahoo!7 today announced that Stuart Sayers has been appointed to the role of Yahoo!7 Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective September 1, 2012. Sayers replaces Rohan Lund, who will transition to the role of Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Seven West Media Group.

Sayers has nearly 20 years of experience in business management and operations. Most recently, he was COO of Yahoo!7 where he was responsible for the company’s technology operations, editorial management, finance, human resources and transactional businesses.

Prior to joining Yahoo!7, he held management and strategy roles at ANZ Bank and E*TRADE. Sayers spent eight years at McKinsey & Company where he consulted to a number of leading businesses regarding corporate strategy, pricing strategy, cost reduction and performance improvement. He began his career in brand management at Procter & Gamble.
