Suzie Cardwell is the Chief Data, Product and Technology Officer across the Nine group, positively impacting consumer and commercial experiences, as well as identifying future opportunities.

An seasoned media executive of more than 20 years, Cardwell brings a wealth of consumer and commercial experience and expertise in media, digital and data to the role. With a proven track record in leading successful data-driven change programs, she has held prominent leadership roles in other large media organisations, including News Corp and Foxtel, prior to joining Nine.

Sarah Myers

General Manager, Audience & Marketing, REA Group

Myers is a seasoned marketing professional with 20+ years’ experience building and expanding well-known Australian brands including realestate.com.au, Mortgage Choice, Domain, SMH and The Age. As a respected digital leader, her expertise is in driving audience growth and engagement across digital media and tech businesses. At REA Group, Sarah is the General Manager of Audience & Marketing, leading strong team across brand and performance, lifecycle marketing, audience and personalisation, and analytics.

Andrew Brain

Director, Data & Growth, at Seven West Media

Andrew Brain is the Director, Data & Growth, at Seven West Media and responsible for shaping the data-driven audience and revenue growth strategies of 7plus. Andrew has 20 years of industry experience in leadership roles in digital media across publishing, out of home, radio and television.

Dean La Rosa

General Manager, Commercial Data at News Corp Australia

Dean La Rosa is the general manager of commercial data at News Corp working to deepen the impact of content for advertisers through precision-targeted, real-time and real-world consumer insights. La Rosa spearheads News’ in-house data science capabilities.

La Rosa previously worked at the Seven Network as head of commercial data and programmatic, and before that at Nine Entertainment and Acxiom.

Danika Johnston

Director of Commercial Partnerships ANZ

Danika is the Guardian’s director of commercial partnerships for Australia and New Zealand.Johnston is an accomplished media executive who has held leadership roles at Nova Entertainment, Mamamia, SBS and TikTok. Prior to joining the Guardian, Johnston was the Australian managing director of the UK-founded social media platform WeAre8

Caroline Oates

Head of YouTube, Deals & Programmatic Sales, Google

With 20+ years experience across media and tech, Caroline currently leads the go-to-market, strategy and sales specialist teams for YouTube and DV360 in AUNZ. Prior to this she led Google Australia’s FMCG ads business with her role focused on helping clients continue to build strong brands and engage their customers as consumer behaviour evolved. Caroline started her career in the UK in a start-up before moving to News UK where she led the Insight & Strategic Planning function.

Maddie Basso

Head of Yahoo DSP Australia

Maddie Basso brings deep expertise in sales strategy and programmatic innovation in Australia’s programmatic advertising landscape as the Head of Yahoo DSP Australia. She is responsible for leading the commercial strategy and operations for Yahoo’s DSP business, where she has been instrumental in forging major agency partnerships and solidifying Yahoo DSP’s position as a market leader. Her impact is most evident in her leadership of the Afterpay Media Network launch – a first-of-its-kind commerce media network powered by Yahoo’s DSP.
With a career defined by building and scaling innovative ad solutions, Maddie previously held senior sales roles in both the UK and Australia. This includes her successful launch of Captify’s first APAC office in Sydney.
Beyond her commercial achievements, Maddie is known for her people-first leadership style. She is dedicated to fostering talent, empowering her teams, and building a collaborative culture that drives both individual and collective success.

Carolyn Bollaci

Head of Media, Meta

Carolyn is the Head of Media at Facebook Australia where she is responsible for partnering with agencies to grow their businesses, achieve results for clients and help scale education across the Facebook family of apps. Carolyn was featured on the 2015, & 2020 B&T Women in Media Power List and won the B&T Women in Technology award in 2020.

Carolyn has had 15+ years in the digital space on three continents and multiple cities (Boston, San Francisco, Sydney, London and New York.) She is an active member of the Australian digital community, and as one of the founding members of the IAB Australia AdTech Council, she helps define policies and standards that benefit the greater industry as a whole. Bollaci works closely with leading brands and agencies in the region and has been involved with some of the most innovative digital advertising campaigns across Asia.

Davor Vilusic

Davor is a marketing and media industry leader with more than 20 years of commercial experience. This includes hands on experience in various complimentary working environments (Affiliate Network, Tier 1 Publisher, Media & Communications Agency, Programmatic and Data company) specialising in helping businesses overcome their marketing challenges and deliver outcomes.

Heather McGovern

Chief Product Officer & Marketing Officer at Domain

Heather is responsible for the product and marketing function at Domain. She has previously held senior marketing, product and strategy roles at MyState, BankVIC and AIA Australia. 

Mitchell Greenway

Managing Director, APAC & VP, Global Business Development at OpenX

Mitchell leads OpenX’s commercial operations across the Asia-Pacific region and brings over 15 years of experience in digital advertising and programmatic strategy. He has spearheaded major CTV and data initiatives in APAC, driving sustainable, privacy-forward advertising solutions. A member of the IAB Tech Council, Mitchell is passionate about mentoring emerging leaders and shaping the future of programmatic across the region. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Yahoo!7 and Bauer Media Group, where he built supply-side programmatic stacks and helped lead digital transformation efforts across the ecosystem.
