Having recently left the U.K. agency world, this anonymous media executive shares an inside view of agencies as they developed their trading desk model and why it has drawn controversy. A compelling read.

X10 – A New Agency Model – (LinkedIn) Mark Pollard – a member of the ‘gum-leaf mafia’ based in NYC and partner with Leo Burnett – proposes this innovative agency of of the future where there will not be one “right” and homogenous model but many models existing and continuing to evolve. A fascinating and worthwhile read.

CES 2015: Five Trends that could change Advertising (via Portadata) – a look at what this ‘mother of all consumer electronics shows’ revealed about the future of advertising highlighting five trends that will matter for advertisers in the years to come, and opinions from three smart executives who share their thoughts.
