With the Privacy review now well under way here in Australia, discussions related to the collection, management and adherence to consumer consent for digital advertising are becoming more prevalent across the industry.
As result, we felt it timely to provide some background on how this is managed in a couple of other global markets through various frameworks to help support more meaningful local discussions on this topic moving forwards. We have also added reference to the Accountability Platform specs, which IAB Tech Lab released in draft on 15th December 2023.
