The ACCC last week published its 6th interim report which considers competition and consumer issues in the provision of social media services to consumers and businesses in Australia. Amongst the issues the ACCC’s report considers are privacy and data collection, scam ads, fake ratings and reviews, dark patterns and potential consumer harms. The IAB has outlined below the four key recommendations for members.
