Please give us some historical background to the company:
Founded in 2019, iion is an Australian adtech company that revolutionizes monetization and advertising for the gaming industry. It provides a seamless platform connecting premium gaming environments for advertisers and publishers, iion enables efficient campaign management, extensive brand-safe gaming inventory access, and impactful audience engagement.
Tell us a little bit about your company's mission and vision?
iion is driven by a singular purpose, which combines our vision and mission, to redefine advertising and monetization in the gaming industry. Leveraging our platform and services, we aim to enable a future where any party within the gaming ecosystem - be it a marketer, agency, technology, or publisher - can participate in a seamless value exchange. We look to extend our technology and services to all media and advertising stakeholders, enabling them to engage gamers respectfully and authentically.
Do you have a particular 'hero product' that you are most proud of?
immersiion, iion's game-changing advertising platform, that connects brands with game publishers across all gaming environments. The platform helps brands achieve full-funnel objectives in gaming through tailored creatives and contextual ads, that that seamlessly integrate into the gaming environments. On the other hand, it offers publishers access to premium direct demand and unparalleled monetization opportunities.
What area of digital do you personally work in and how do you hope to enhance this within your business?
As the Chief Commercial Officer, my responsibility is to steer iion's sales, marketing, and overall commercial success. My role involves fostering a synergistic relationship between the sales and marketing teams, ensuring their seamless collaboration. iion is in a state of rapid global expansion, and we aim to work with both new and existing partners to grow the adoption of our gaming technology and services. In parallel, we aim to leverage marketing to enhance the industry's awareness of our purpose, empowering us to deliver exceptional results.
Please tell us what, as a child, you wanted to be 'when you grew up'?
It ranged from being a teacher to a psychologist. The 8-year-old me would've been blown away by what I'm doing now because the job and industry did not exist!
