April 19, 2012 -News Limited Director of Sales Tony Kendall today announced the creation of Carsguide NSW, a new team that sees the automotive sales team from Nationwide News, the NSW metro newspaper division, joined with their counterparts at NewsLocal, the NSW community newspaper division, to create a new unified sales force.
Carsguide is Australia’s largest automotive brand by revenue, appearing in print in more than 120 metropolitan, suburban and regional News Limited newspapers and online at carsguide.com.au.
News Limited will shortly appoint a manager for the new team.
In the interim, Nationwide News Advertising Director Agostino Giramondo is overseeing the new team.
Agostino said that the combined teams are focused on providing improved customer-centric experiences and solutions.
“The motoring landscape in Australia has changed, and continued dialogue with our customers tells us we need to change with them.
“Many automotive customers have long requested a single point of contact for all their advertising. We’ve listened to our customers, and we’re delivering what they want,” he said.
