IAB NZ: PwC Online Ad Spend Report Q3 2013

Total interactive advertising spend in New Zealand for Q3 2013 was $120.20 million up 27% year-on-year.

  • Biggest quarter to date with Mobile (104% YoY), Search & Directories (41% YoY) and Video (21% YoY)
  • IAB has increased its 2013 Total Market estimate of 11% up to 15%
  • On track to break the $400million mark at the end of the year
  • Total market growth is on par with Australia, they just released their Q3 numbers reporting 25% YoY growth vs NZ with 27% YoY
  • Government, Finance, and Travel were the top three dominant General Display industry categories in the September Qtr 2013 representing 36% of the reported General Display advertising market up from 33% a year ago
