Australia demonstrates some steady growth in the report with it taking first position across the reported region for click share, spend and cost across tablets and smartphones. The report highlights growth in search advertising spend with paid advertising at $3 billion for 2012in Australia. It also demonstrates the rapid proliferation of smartphones and tablets across the globe and Marin Software predicts this is only the beginning.
