On March 02, 2022

Every now and then we like to highlight a new IAB Australia member that we think our community will find interesting. Today we meet Foxcatcher.

Written by Yun Yip, General Manager, Foxcatcher.

Please give us some historical background to the company

We are an exciting Australian technology business that launched in September 2020 - a time of unprecedented social, business and digital disruption. We leverage data and streamline technology enablement for the most effective marketing solution. Our focus areas are 1) customer data, digital ecosystems and convergence 2) aligning addressable media with CRM, DRC and Ecommerce outcomes 3) tailored marketing automation software and trading.

Please tell us a little bit about your company's mission and vision?

Our aim is to keep the application of data and technology simple in an over complicated landscape. We exist to deliver customer success through our innovation, technology and people for brands, agencies and publishers. We are proud to have collaborated with over 60+ clients to achieve their digital and technology north star.

Do you have a particular 'hero product' that you are most proud of?

WorldView is an integrated CDP and DMP, built in Melbourne specifically for marketing and advertising outcomes. Worldview can leverage 1st party client data (through our proprietary FoxTag) as well as macro contextual drivers. The latter has added a very crucial dimension during times of disruption and uncertainty. Drivers such as sentiment and key cultural moments have delivered a layer of empathy and deeper connection between brands and consumers. We have enjoyed the ability to help brands improve their outcomes up to 4x by improving every marketer’s working media dollar.

What area of digital do you personally work in and how do you hope to enhance this within your business?

I lead the Growth and Partnerships team. From a Growth perspective, I work to deliver better business outcomes with our existing clients, as well as drive success with new businesses and markets. Working to ensure Growth of our team at Foxcatcher is also a big part of my role, with training and development as one of the key pillars. From a Partnerships perspective, I collaborate with internal and external (eg. tech and publisher partners) stakeholders to craft better commercial models and operational processes so as to enhance our mutual way of working and effectiveness.

Please tell us what, as a child, you wanted to be 'when you grew up'?

A forensic psychologist – which definitely is a strange choice given I can’t stomach blood and violence.
